Professor Zhang Zhongqiu

Curriculum Vitae

Professor Zhang Zhongqiu, Doctor of Law and PhD supervisor, works at China University of Political Science and Law. He is executive president of China Institute of Legal History. Professor Zhang has always been invited to attend different academic activities in the United States of America, Germany,  France, Austria, Japan, South Korea and China’s Taiwan and Hong Kong. He has published more than one hundred academic papers, many of which are published in academic journals from the United States of America, Germany, Japan,  South Korea, France and China’s Taiwan. His representative books include Comparative Studies of Chinese and Western Legal Culture, Comparative Studies of Sino-Japan Legal Culture Exchange, Principle and Its Significance: Exploring the Morality of Chinese Legal Culture, and the Notion of Jurisprudence in Traditional China. Professor Zhang has presided over many national and other academic programs. He has won independently one prize of National Youth Outstanding Social Science Achievements Top Award: Excellent Monograph Award, won cooperatively one prize of Ministry of Education Outstanding Achievements Award of Humanities and Social Sciences Research in Higher Colleges and Universities: Frist Prize, and won independently three prizes of Ministry of Education Outstanding Achievements Award of Humanities and Social Sciences Research in Higher Colleges and Universities: Second Prize.
