Prof. Li Qing
Li Qing: Born in May 1962, Beijing. From 1980 to 1984, she studied at the Faculty of Law of China University of Political Science and Law(CUPL) and obtained a bachelor's degree in law. From 1984 to 1986, studied at CUPL and obtained a master's degree in Chinese legal history. From 1991 to 1996, studied at Aichi University and Chiba University in Japan, obtained a Japanese master's degree in Sino-Japanese Comparative Law. In 2001, obtained a Doctor of Laws degree in CUPL. Since 2003, she has been engaged in scientific research at the Institute of Legal History of CUPL, served as a professor and master tutor. Presided over the Project “Chinese Law System and East Asian Law Research” supported by The National Social Science Fund of China and the Project "The Qing Dynasty Archives and Civil Litigation System" supported by MOE Foundation of Humanities and Social Sciences.
She served as a member of the leading group of the National Cultural Project "Qing History·Law History" and participate in the writing of related work, has been invited to the United States, Japan, South Korea, Israel and other countries for academic exchange activities.
Representative works: "Research on the Legal Thoughts and Practices of the Westernization Group", "Research on Qing Dynasty Archives and Civil Litigation System" and other academic monographs, published more than 50 academic papers. Her recent research fields are China's legal system and ancient Chinese ancient legal system.
